Marco R. Gerritsen, lawyer of the Mothers of Srebrenica, was approached by the world press after the arrest of Karadzic on 22 July 2008.

Marco R. Gerritsen and Axel Hagedorn represent, on behalf of Van Diepen Van der Kroef, the interests of the 6.000 relatives of the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995. Gerritsen issued a short statement to - among others - the BBC, CBC, Al Jazeera, Reuters and ZDF. See also nu.nl.
