Beyond the borders
It is not only in The Netherlands that we counsel and advise our clients in all types of cases. We do the same abroad and for that purpose we have a number of in house practice groups that focus on particular countries. Thus, our German practice group comprises seven lawyers, five of whom possess German nationality. Of these, three lawyers are registered as both German and also Dutch lawyers (with knowledge and experience in both legal systems). In addition, we have a French lawyer and a lawyer from the Peoples’ Republic of China. Our Russian, Portugese and Japanese practice groups are staffed by lawyers who either speak the language in question fluently or have it as their mother tongue. To complement our international services we utilize an excellent international network of lawyers and other experts. In addition we are involved in internationally discussed cases, such as the representation of some 6,000 relatives of the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995 in the case brought against the State of The Netherlands and the UN.
